In QVX, objects are selected by clicking on them in the Tree view, List view, Project Manager or Search window. The current selection is always displayed in the lower left corner of the status bar:

Then the selected objects can be edited with the editing functions that are available at various places in the program, for example:

- in the main menu:

- on the toolbar:

- in the context menu of Project Manager:

 {{:win:en:selection_context_pm.png?nolink|}}

- in the context menu on the map:

- in the context menu in Xplorer window: 

 {{:win:en:selection_context_list.png?nolink|}}

Several objects can also be selected in the List view and in Project Manager, which are then all processed accordingly.
